I purchased these fixtures for a 1930s kitchen and couldn't be more pleased. They have a classic look that complements the setting and yet still goes with modern appliances. The fixture is well made, and the stems are nice to have, although we didn't use the long stem. The globe has a great design that looks good even when the light is off, and diffuses the light well when on. Also a great feature is that you can put in a 100 watt bulb--some similar fixtures in this price range were smaller and/or limited to a 60W. -- Classic Look, Well Made, Great Price

Just received three of these lights for my kitchen. Was a little skeptical because of the price but was pleasantly surprised. The globe is beautifully shaped and larger than I imagined. My only concern is that the pendant stem seems a little undersized. I haven't installed them yet, so I don't know that it will be a problem. As of now, I think it's a great bargain. Comparable schoolhouse pendants I've priced have been four to five times this price. -- Great bargain
